DIRECTIONS
By Car
From Milan Malpensa (MXP) by car (1 ¾ hours)
As you leave the airport, follow the A8 direction Gravellona to the A26, still following direction Gravellona, and once at Verbania take the SS34 along the coast of Lago Maggiore until the city sign of ‘Cannobio’. Directly after the filling station, take the first left marked to ‘Falmenta’ and ‘Valle Cannobina’. Follow this road (bearing left past Traffiume; bear right after Socraggio, then left towards ‘Valle Cannobina’). You will pass through the villages of Nivetta, Lunecco and Ponte di Falmenta and after crossing a bridge finally turn a sharp left at the sign for Falmenta with its nine switchbacks leading up to the village car park of Falmenta.
From Milan Bergamo (BGY) by car (2 ¼ hours)
Follow A8 direction Gravellona and then follow the same directions as above.
